Info
On November 19, 2026, at Blue Note London, Robert Glasper brings his restless, genre-bending vision to the stage. The Houston-born pianist, composer and producer has built a sound where contemporary jazz and post-bop rub shoulders with hip-hop, R&B and soul, always anchored by a deep sense of groove and a love of improvisation that never forgets the song.
Known for early trio records like Mood, Canvas and In My Element, Glasper later widened the frame with the Robert Glasper Experiment, leaning into electric colors and vocal-driven writing on the Black Radio series and ArtScience. Expect a set that moves fast between open, exploratory passages and tight, beat-informed moments, with that signature balance of finesse and punch that made him a key link between jazz clubs and modern Black music.
