On 21 October 2026, Masego lands at Blue Note London with his own hybrid of jazz, contemporary R&B, hip-hop and trap, built around that signature sax line that can switch from silky hooks to sharp, improvisational runs. Born in Kingston and raised between worlds, he’s shaped a sound where singing, rap phrasing and live playing sit on the same level, moving from loose groove to tight melody without breaking the flow.
Known for naming it “TrapHouseJazz,” Masego’s set draws from the arcs that took him from early mixtapes and the Pink Polo EP to the more song-driven Lady Lady, then the travel-tinted Studying Abroad and his 2023 album Masego. Expect a live show that keeps room for improvisation and band chemistry, with nods to the scenes he’s crossed with artists like FKJ, Kaytranada, SiR or Yussef Dayes, and that ability to make club-ready rhythms feel just as at home in a jazz room.
