Info
On May 9, 2027, Metallica bring the M72 World Tour to Vancouver at BC Place, with a bill that connects generations of heavy music. Still driven by the core chemistry forged in the early ’80s, the band draws from the thrash foundations that set the tone on records like Kill ’Em All, Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets, while keeping the door open to later turns in their catalog, from the stadium-sized punch of the Black Album to the sharper edge of their recent era, including 72 Seasons. Expect a set built for momentum: tight, riff-first, and designed to hit hard.
Limp Bizkit join the night with their rap-rock mix of heavy guitars, turntable cuts and blunt, percussive grooves. Built around Fred Durst’s flow and Wes Borland’s unmistakable guitar approach, their songs move between mosh-ready riffs and hooks that recall the late-’90s nu metal peak.
Avatar round out the lineup with a theatrical Swedish metal show that blends modern heaviness, groove and a darker carnival vibe. Led by Johannes Eckerström, they pair sharp melodies with dense riffs, turning the stage into a character-driven performance.
