On January 1, 2027, Streetheart lands at Club Regent Event Centre in Winnipeg for a night built around the band’s classic Canadian melodic hard rock and AOR backbone. Formed in the late ’70s around singer Kenny Shields and keyboardist Daryl Gutheil, Streetheart’s sound has always lived in the push and pull between dense guitars, forward keyboards, and vocals that sit right at the front of the mix. Expect a set that leans into the era-defining run of Meanwhile Back in Paris… (1978), Under Heaven Over Hell (1979), and Quicksand Shoes (1980), where the band locked in its signature blend of original material and reworked rock standards. Even after early lineup shifts, Streetheart kept moving through the ’80s and beyond, staying a road-tested live band across Canada. This Winnipeg date is all about that big, tight, sing-along rock repertoire, played with the punch and polish that made them a staple at home.
