On December 19, 2026, Joe Yorke makes a stop at the Transbordeur in Villeurbanne with his distinctive blend of rocksteady, dub, soul and folk, nourished by British sound-system culture. A singer and songwriter formed between the streets of Wigan and Manchester, he sharpened his voice and sense of groove through reggae and dub sessions, before settling in Bristol and pursuing a path that links writing with the power of live performance. On stage, his songs play with contrasts: a warm rootsy foundation, arrangements that breathe, and occasional detours into more modern textures, sometimes dub-techno.
