Squeeze lands in Madrid on March 15, 2027, at Sala La Riviera, with that guitar-driven British pop that helped define the new wave since 1974. The band revolves around the duo Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, two songwriters whose chemistry is the product of years of collaboration: tense melodies, refined choruses, and lyrics with an eye for the everyday, always with that touch of English humor. The concert focuses on Trixies 2026, a collection of songs recovered from their early years that, for one reason or another, never made it to a recording. In concert, that archaeology blends with the punch of their classics, from Cool for Cats to Up the Junction, including Take Me I'm Yours: songs that connect classic British pop with post-punk without losing lightness or detail.
