Dawn Of Demise was formed in Silkeborg in 2003 with the ambition to play heavy and groovy death metal. That starting point remains unchanged today, with heaviness, groove, and prominent riffs. The band has released six albums and has always drawn more inspiration from the American death metal scene than from the Danish one. This led former Suffocation and Pyrexia vocalist Kevin Muller to describe them as New York death metal from Denmark in an interview, a characterization that still rings true.
With original member Jakob Nyholm back in the lineup, Dawn Of Demise are releasing their seventh album, Feed My Absurdity. The album was recorded with producer Tue Madsen and will be released on October 9, 2026, through the American label Unique Leader Records.
