For our 43rd edition, we will celebrate Gobs’s 30th birthday.
Gobs, also known for his love of colorful shirts, is no stranger to Drum & Beer nights, and we are delighted to help him organise his birthday party. His journey in drum & bass began some time ago, during which he has gained extensive on‑stage experience, released three tracks on Space Pirate Recordings and a dubplate on BXL Underground, and he is happy to soon present to you his most complete hybrid DJing and fingerdrumming set on MPC to date.
For nearly a decade, Gobs has dreamed of playing alongside tonight’s headliner and one of the best students from Medschool Music, Bop. Describing Bop’s music as minimal does it little justice. Bop’s productions, which have continually diversified and evolved in complexity over the years, will captivate you as much as his sets will make you nod your head. His releases on Hospital Records and on his own label, Microfunk Music, are among the most interesting and forward‑thinking in drum & bass, but also in garage and dubstep. We are thrilled to welcome him for a two‑hour set at a Drum & Beer event and can’t wait to see what he has in store for us.
Gobs and Bop will be joined by Hiraeth, Belgian DJ and producer, co‑organiser of the Headspace events, as well as VIKI from Respect The Breakz, Gush, Dooskoe on vocals, and Cellarman, aka the boss of Drum & Beer, to close the evening.

This Drum & Beer will take place at Paramour, a cultural centre located in Brussels’ European Quarter, at 104 Rue d’Arlon, in a temporary space set up in an unoccupied office building, whose walls, floor, ceiling and raw concrete pillars give it an industrial vibe.
