Dinosaur Pile-Up return to the stage at Future Yard in Birkenhead on March 27, 2027, bringing their blunt, melodic brand of alt-rock back into the room after years away. The Leeds trio have always mixed grunge bite, pop-punk urgency and big, catchy choruses, but this show lands in a new chapter: their fifth album I’ve Felt Better.
Written in the wake of frontman Matt Bigland’s long fight with ulcerative colitis, the record turns a dry, three-word default reply into a full reset. Across 12 tracks, they channel exhaustion, uncertainty and self-scrutiny into songs built for impact: thick guitars, tight structures, and that rough edge that keeps the hooks from sounding too clean. Expect a set that pulls from the band’s older, road-tested fan favourites and this more direct, hard-won return, with the kind of no-frills energy Dinosaur Pile-Up have been sharpening since 2007.
