On September 25, 2026, Protomartyr will bring a special evening to Berlin: At Rough Trade Berlin, everything revolves around their new album Hotel Usona. Instead of a traditional concert format, there will be a shared listening session where the record can be heard as a finished draft — with all the dry tension, the angular guitars of Greg Ahee, and Joe Casey's distinctive, more spoken delivery.
In the ensuing Q&A, Protomartyr will open the space for questions about the creation, themes, and sound of their seventh studio album, which was recorded with producer Dave Fridmann at Tarbox Road Studios in western New York. Afterwards, the band themselves will take over with a DJ set, before the evening winds down with a signing session — close up, without fuss, entirely focused on the music and its stories.
