On 29 October 2026, Nubiyan Twist will arrive at Circolo Magnolia in Novegro-Tregarezzo with their distinctive way of blending contemporary jazz, afrobeat, soul and hip-hop into a single flow. Born in Leeds in the early 2010s as a geometrically variable collective, they move between improvisation and highly crafted arrangements, with winds taking a prominent role, warm rhythms, and voices that enter and exit like pieces in a mosaic. Guided by composer and guitarist Tom Excell, they bring to the stage a sound built for live performance: grooves that spread wide, interlocking sections and dynamic shifts that recall both club culture and the energy of festivals. In their set, the independent edge of their early releases can sit alongside the maturity of their more recent works, from Jungle Run and Freedom Fables to Find Your Flame, always with that idea of a band-collective that makes each concert sound a little different from the one before.
