On December 1, 2026, Tony Christie brings his Up Close & Unplugged show to Saint Luke's & The Winged Ox in Glasgow, stripping things back to focus on what’s always carried his songs: that big, story-first voice. This is the Great Farewell Unplugged Tour, built like a walk through his catalogue, from the era-defining (Is This The Way To) Amarillo to staples like I Did What I Did For Maria and Avenues & Alleyways.
Expect an evening that moves between easy-listening pop, orchestral ballad spirit and those dramatic, singalong refrains he made his own, with room too for later curveballs like Walk Like A Panther. Christie also nods to the artists who shaped him, weaving in a few well-chosen covers alongside the classics. And with A New Life recently recorded in Nashville, the set can also open a window onto his songs reimagined with a country tilt, without losing their punch.
