Snow Patrol are coming in acoustic mode on October 17, 2026 at the Millennium Forum, stripping things back without losing what makes their songs hit. Built around Gary Lightbody’s writing, the band’s melodic alternative rock has always balanced bright guitars, slow-building tension and those big choruses that open up after a more restrained start. In an unplugged set, that craft comes to the front: the hooks feel closer, the dynamics are sharper, and the emotional weight sits right on the voice and the phrasing.
Formed in the mid-90s and shaped by records like Final Straw and Eyes Open, Snow Patrol have kept evolving, later bringing in subtler electronic textures and, more recently, continuing as a trio with Lightbody, Nathan Connolly and Johnny McDaid. This show is a chance to hear that whole arc in a more intimate frame, where the songwriting does the heavy lifting and the atmosphere comes from the space between the notes.
