Info
London Oratorio lands at Royal Festival Hall in London on 19 September 2026 as a huge, city-sized choral statement shaped by poet and performer Devlin with composer Kieran Brunt. Think massed voices, languages colliding, and the feeling of a crowd breathing in time: dozens of choirs and traditions share the same space, from Gospel and Balkan colours to African, Arabic, Hebrew, Bulgarian and Nordic lines. The piece leans into what makes London sound like London, turning the city’s everyday mix into a collective score built for scale.
To close it out, Jacob Collier takes the reins for the finale. The London-born multi-instrumentalist brings his trademark blend of jazz, pop, R&B and choral harmony, the kind that loves dense chords, quick rhythmic shifts and group singing that actually feels communal. He leads the assembled choirs and the room into a participatory ending where the audience isn’t just watching the “big moment” from a distance, but gets pulled into it.
