The earth roars, the world unravels and distant lives fall apart piece by piece. We cannot be there to gather them, to rebuild them, to save ourselves. We cannot. We are here, in Madrid, offering our arts, to foster gathering and support, to endure the distance.
That is why Sala El Sol will, for two nights, become our home. Artists from Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina and, of course, Spain will devote ourselves to trying to repair the intangible, to transform emotions into sounds and movements, to germinate life in the cracks.
One event, two nights, one same cause: to raise money to send to our homeland and to our people in Colombia, to transform what has been destroyed.
Turn up the volume for two nights of speaker-driven, visceral, nostalgic, spiritual sounds—rooted and tropical.
Turn up the volume and discover all there is left to say.
