On September 27, 2026, at Midway Music Hall in Edmonton, Arkanus lines up a straight-to-the-floor techno night led by Joyhauser, T78, Alokin and IOA. The Belgian duo Joyhauser brings its tight, forward-driving sound, where rave pressure, acid flashes and trance-leaning hooks feed into clean buildups and dark, readable melodies. It’s the kind of set that moves fast without getting messy, built for long stretches of intensity.
T78 (the techno project of Manuele Tessarollo, also known as Dj Activator) lands with dense, peak-time energy: punchy drums, sharp synth lines and acid accents, with that 90s rave edge reshaped for modern systems. Expect a no-nonsense approach geared for big-room momentum.
Canada-based Alokin pushes the crossover angle, sliding between techno, trance and hard dance with driving rhythms, acid touches and bigger lifts when the room calls for it. IOA rounds out the bill with a Spanish techno perspective, keeping the focus on pace and pressure.
