Déyyess will be in concert on 18 November 2026 at The Deaf Institute, in Manchester. Hailing from Canterbury, the alt-pop artist weaves songs about relationships between women, emotions not always mutual, and queer joy, with that blend of gentleness and grit that defines her signature. In her music, one finds shoegaze swathes and hazy textures, but also a very direct melodic sensibility capable of reaching beyond LGBTQIA+ circles.
With her EP Would You Go Down On A Girl, Déyyess pushes this skin-deep romance even further, between tension and fragility, powered by influences ranging from the Cocteau Twins and The Cranberries to more contemporary references like Chappell Roan or Clairo. On stage, this material becomes a nervous, intimate set, where the choruses stick and the guitars widen the space. After supporting slots in the UK and Europe, and appearances on stages such as BST Hyde Park, Reading and Leeds, she comes to bring her alternative pop to Manchester.
