A feminine musical and cinematic journey, a tribute to film heroines who sing, dream, resist, and emancipate themselves. From the blonde from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes to the runaway heroines of Thelma & Louise, from the soft incantations of the Lilac Fairy to the vibrant solitude of Cléo, this program summons female figures from cinema through the songs that carry them and tell their stories.
These pieces, drawn from cinema classics, are often pivotal moments where women's voices affirm a desire, a revolt, an anxiety, or a joy. From duets of female solidarity to hymns of sisterhood. Each song becomes an echo of women's lives, of their struggles, of bonds and transmissions. These songs resonate as fragments of lives, battles, escapes, metamorphoses. A dialogue between cinema and music to make women's narratives heard. A concert to remember that movie songs are never incidental: they tell, awaken, and connect. They give voice to what the heroines have to say, in us, for us, and among us.
