Alestorm arrives at the O2 Ritz Manchester on 21 January 2027 with their pirate metal carved to be sung at full volume. Since its beginnings in Scotland, the band blends high-energy power metal, folk touches, and prominent keyboards, all carried by choruses that evoke taverns and tales of battles at sea. From early albums like Captain Morgan’s Revenge to Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum, Alestorm has kept that taste for fast riffs, well-placed humor, and on-stage energy, in a show designed as a collective celebration rather than a demonstration. Battle Beast completes the bill, still as solid with its melodic heavy/power metal from Finland. The band relies on punchy rhythms, retro 80s keyboards, and songs designed to hook from the first verse. From Steel to Circus of Doom, Battle Beast has refined a direct and effective formula, where the voice leads the action and where every rise in intensity is calibrated for the live show.
