On August 16, 2026, Groove x Studio Liberté brings together at Sonnenraum, in Berlin, a lineup that traverses electro in all its states, from the most soulful to the darkest corners, with a genuine dancefloor throughline. Modeselektor, a Berlin-based duo (Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary), lands with their edgy blend of techno, electro, IDM and bass music. Used to tempo shifts, digital textures and thick bass, they keep a live edge that shakes up formats and links the rave heritage to a distinctly contemporary approach. On the Detroit side, DJ Godfather champions fast and dry ghettotech, at the crossroads of electro and booty bass, propelled by a precise and upfront mix. DJ Assault, another key figure in the local scene, pushes the urgency even further: short loops, chopped vocals, direct energy, designed to raise the pressure without hesitation. Detroit In Effect rounds out this block with minimal electro-funk, accelerated rhythms and robotic hooks, tailored for the club. The Floridian Danny Daze and the Berlin-based SALOME broaden the spectrum, between bass sets, techno and electro, for a setup that promises to stay in motion all night.
