COEO embodies that new wave of producers who look to disco and house without nostalgia, but with respect for the groove. The German duo blends classic references, clearly defined basslines and a very direct melodic sense, with that warm touch that works both for listening and on the dancefloor. In their productions you can sense the refined work with vocal samples, clean arrangements and an energy crafted for the club, moving between deep house, disco house and boogie nods.
In a live set, Andreas Höpfl and Florian Vietz build a constant give-and-take between past and present: edits, hidden gems and contemporary house fitted in naturally, without losing the thread.
