With 'Neue Welt,' Schrotthagen open the next chapter of their project: as an album and as a tour. The German duo, born from the collaboration between film composer Dieter Schleip and producer Giovanni Berg, bring exactly this tension to the stage: cinematic arcs, as in cinema, but with the pressure and immediacy of a club. Their sound moves between upfront techno pulsations, trance-like textures, and atmospheric surfaces that slowly charge, tilt, and rebuild. On the Neue Welt Tour the set is conceived as a continuous narrative: hard, dense passages meet melodic climbs that do not merely ornament, but drive the dynamics. Added to this is a stage design that responds in real time and shapes the space, rather than merely serving as backdrop. Schrotthagen understand Neue Welt not so much as a motto but as a state: a hybrid zone of sound and movement that condenses in the moment.
