On 26 November 2026, Ash bring their punchy Northern Irish alternative rock to Electric Bristol in Bristol. Formed in Downpatrick in the early 90s around Tim Wheeler, Mark Hamilton and Rick McMurray, the band built its name on short, fast songs with a real pop instinct, sitting somewhere between power pop, indie rock and pop-punk bite.
From the early buzz of Trailer to the breakthrough of 1977, Ash have kept that direct, melodic drive alive across decades, whether in trio mode or during the years with Charlotte Hatherley on guitar and vocals. Expect a set that draws from the big late-90s and early-2000s records and keeps moving through their more recent run, from Kablammo! and Islands to Race the Night, with the same sharp hooks and restless energy. Support acts are also on the bill.
