Info
On November 28, 2026, at 109 - l’Embarcadère in Montluçon, Yaniss Odua will present nearly three decades of reggae and dancehall in French and Creole. Originating from Martinique, he has over the years established himself as a solid voice of Francophone reggae, with a style that flows between roots, Caribbean influences and the energy of toasting, while never losing the meaning of the lyrics.
On stage, he draws from a repertoire that has marked several generations, from La Caraïbe to Rouge Jaune Vert or Chalawa, and from his albums that punctuate his career, from Yon pa yon to Stay High. His songs address both social realities and daily life, and the attachment to the Antilles, carried by a direct flow and catchy refrains that linger. A date to rediscover a living, engaged and open reggae, on the eve of a new album announced for the fall.
