Jordan Rakei returns to the stage on April 9, 2027 at La Rayonne in Villeurbanne for a live show that mirrors his art: contemporary soul that flirts with jazz, alternative R&B and more electronic textures, never losing the groove. Born in New Zealand, after a stint in Brisbane before settling in London, he has built a very personal sound where the voice remains at the center, carried by soft keyboards, discreet guitars and precise production. Discovered from his early EPs, he later gained momentum with albums such as Cloak, Wallflower, Origin, What We Call Life, and then The Loop, while navigating the London scene and its crosscurrents (beatmaking, neo-soul, modern jazz). On stage, his tracks take on a different density: syncopated rhythms, jazz harmonies, organic arrangements and this way of making each title breathe, between introspection and energy.
