Florence Road, an indie quartet formed in Bray, County Wicklow, brings together Lily Aron, Emma Brandon, Ailbhe Barry, and Hannah Kelly. Childhood friends, they have kept this closeness at the heart of their music: an edgy indie rock where fragility surfaces, with melodies that cling and electric crescendos that sometimes veer toward grunge and alternative pop. Their lyrics speak frankly about anxiety, the contradictions of early adulthood, and everything that spills over when you try to maintain balance.
After a string of singles such as Heavy and Caterpillar, they established their universe with Fall Back, their debut mixtape released in 2025, between softness and rough edges. On stage, Florence Road leans into this tension to the fullest, allowing room for the choruses and the breaks, with direct energy and writing that is raw.
