On June 12, 2027, Furax Barbarossa will perform at the Centre Gérard Philipe in Calais for a concert that promises to be as upfront as it is sensitive. A Toulouse-born rapper and indie figure, Furax has been carving out his path since the early 2000s with a raw, literary, unfiltered writing, where introspection intersects with anger and a lucid awareness of reality.
A founding member of Polychrome 7 and of the Toulouse Tordue Connection, he has built a coherent, uncompromising discography, from Testament to Avant l’aube, including La tête, les mains et le cœur, and À l’ombre des lumières. On stage, his deep voice and taut flow carry finely crafted, razor-edged lyrics, capable of turning everyday life into dense, poetic, and humane material. A rap of words and nerves, closer to a narrative than to a slogan, crafted for the live show.
