If you follow the Quebec scene closely or even from afar, Les Louanges is one of those projects that quickly leaves its mark. Led by multi-instrumentalist Vincent Roberge, the group moves with rare ease between chanson and groove, with finely crafted writing and arrangements that embrace both organic warmth and more modern textures. On stage, it’s about the details: a measured voice, supple rhythms, melodies that linger in the mind without overdoing it, and that way of building tension without ever forcing it.
