Info
Gloryhammer lands at Interference, in Balma, on 16 October 2026, with its symphonic power metal conceived as a saga. Formed in Dundee in 2010 around Christopher Bowes (also behind Alestorm), the band has built a conceptual universe in which each musician embodies a character, straddling medieval fantasy and science fiction. On stage, this translates into narrative tracks, choruses crafted to be sung in unison, fast tempos, and orchestrations that thicken the sound without overpowering the guitars.
Since Tales from the Kingdom of Fife (2013), Gloryhammer has unfolded its story across albums that change setting and period, from imagined Scotland to the space opera Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards (2015), before further expanding the mythology with Legends from Beyond the Galactic Terrorvortex (2019). With Return to the Kingdom of Fife (2023) and the arrival of Michele Guaitori on vocals, the band continues the narrative, preserving this blend of power metal hymns and symphonic arrangements, conceived for live performance.
