Passi takes the stage on October 30, 2026 at La Rotonde in Châteaurenard for a live show that foregrounds a key chapter of French rap. Born in Brazzaville and arriving as a child in Sarcelles, he established himself by the late 1980s with Ministère A.M.E.R., before taking part in the wave of the Secteur Ä collective. His writing, direct and anchored in everyday life, moves between street rap, social observation and Afro references, with this blend of dry punchlines and more melodic refrains that has marked his signature. On his own, he released Les Tentations, then Genèse, Odyssée and Évolution, while widening collaborations with other voices in hip-hop. A producer and pioneer, he also launched Issap Productions and the series Dis l’heure 2..., where rap, zouk, ragga and urban music intersect without forcing it. Not to forget the Bisso Na Bisso venture, which linked French rap with Central African influences. On stage, Passi threads this through-line between 90s heritage, raw energy and Afro openings.
