Dinosaur Pile-Up lands in Madrid on November 25, 2026 at Wurlitzer Ballroom with their blend of direct and melodic alternative rock, born in Leeds and honed with heavy guitars, catchy choruses and writing that never loses its edge. Fronting the band is Matt Bigland, who started the project in 2007 and shaped it until it became a compact trio alongside Mike Sheils on drums and Jim Cratchley on bass. Their sound moves between grunge, post-grunge and pop punk, with songs that go straight to the point and build tension without overcomplicating things. After taking their first step with Growing Pains, albums such as Nature Nurture and Eleven Eleven followed, where the group balances punk energy with pop sensibility, and Celebrity Mansions, which cemented that upfront approach. Live, that blend translates into fast, hard-hitting and crowd-pleasing tunes, with the pulse of a band that has toured the UK, the U.S. and Europe.
