Olivier de Benoist was seeking happiness, and he found a family. Determined not to let this temporary setback derail him from his aim, this optimist sets out on a quest for felicity. The moral of this initiatory journey, according to him, could be summed up as follows: to live happily, we should live in hiding, certainly, but above all far from one's wife and children.
