On February 8, 2027, The Black Dahlia Murder returns to France, in Nantes, at Le Ferrailleur, for a show billed as part of Nocturnal, the pivotal 2007 album released on Metal Blade, as the band celebrates the 20th anniversary of Nocturnal. Formed in Michigan in the early 2000s, TBDM has always operated at the crossroads of American death metal and melodic death metal, with riffs that race along, razor-sharp harmonies, and writing that knows how to vary cadences without losing impact. Since the passing of Trevor Strnad in 2022, the band chose to continue: Brian Eschbach, a founding member, left the guitar to assume vocal duties and open a new chapter on stage. This new configuration materialized with Servitude, released in 2024, proof that The Black Dahlia Murder has not changed its language: brutal, precise, and taut from start to finish. A show designed for longtime fans as well as those who joined later.
