Jim Younger's Spirit continues the path begun in 2012 with a new LP 'No. 6', the band's sixth album (Disques Tchoc-Watonwan RDS).
The soundscape of the new recording evokes the vast American spaces and inner landscapes, with influences close to 1960s-1970s indie rock and contemporary psychedelia. The voice of lead singer Polar Younger carries a spellbinding and hypnotic musical world, reminiscent of Grace Slick, the singer from Jefferson Airplane.
With shows everywhere, festival appearances (Tinals de Nîmes, Levitation Angers), a collaboration with Alex Maas of the Black Angels, Jim Younger's Spirit has shared the stage with The Warlocks, Night Beats, Mystery Lights, Holy Wave, The Telescopes, The Underground Youth.
