Young Gun Silver Fox will land on January 28, 2027 at PLT - Theater Heerlen (Heerlen) with their refined mix of soft rock, R&B, jazz rock and West Coast pop. The London-based duo brings together vocalist and songwriter Andy Platts (also known from Mamas Gun) with multi-instrumentalist Shawn Lee, whom you may know from his solo work and Ping Pong Orchestra. Together they build songs around tight vocal harmonies, smooth grooves, gleaming keyboards, fluid guitars, and brass arrangements that nod to the studio perfection of the late 1970s.
After an initial online connection in the MySpace era, the project really took shape in London, beginning with the single You Can Feel It and later the debut West End Coast (2015). Since then the machine has kept running with AM Waves, Canyons (where the brass has more room), Ticket to Shangri-La and Pleasure. Live, it’s about the same as on record: two musicians with a shared love of soul, melodic soft rock and finely tuned arrangements.
