Dylan John Thomas lands at The Academy in Dublin on November 29, 2026, with the blend that defines his sound: a tight, acoustic indie folk and pop songwriting that gets straight to the point. Born in Glasgow in 1997, he forged his craft on the streets, years of busking with a guitar in hand. In his playing you can hear an apparently simple, highly fingerpicked approach, propelled by crisp choruses and a raspy voice with a phrasing distinctly British, always close to everyday life.
Early spotted by Gerry Cinnamon, who later takes him on tour in the United Kingdom and Europe, he quickly gains momentum, also appearing as a supporting act for Liam Gallagher. After "Nobody Else" (2019), he sharpens his sound with "Jenna" and "Feel the Fire" (2021), in collaboration with producer Rich Turvey, before releasing a string of EPs and an album (Dylan John Thomas in 2024). On stage, it’s all about energy and precision: songs meant to be sung along by many, without going over the top.
