Kybba, also known as Francesco De Nigris, lands in Zurich on October 10, 2026 at X-Tra with his nerve-wracking mix of dancehall, afrobeat and bass music. Born in Salento, in southern Italy, he grew up amid Caribbean and Latin sounds that permeate the region, before getting his start behind the decks at a very young age, playing at free parties and getting involved in the Bulldog Jump crew. Later based in Amsterdam, he refined a hybrid style designed for the club, at once warm and punchy.
In 2016, he laid the foundations of his concept “basshall” and of Basshall Records with Limitless, Tribal Kush and Flava One: a bridge between sound system culture, dancehall rhythms and electronic energy. On stage, Kybba stacks selections and productions that slide from digital reggae to club formats, through collaborations with Blaiz Fayah, Konshens, Major Lazer, Diplo or Ryan Castro. His album How You Bad Suh (2025) synthesizes this identity: thick basslines, syncopated grooves and hooks tailored to keep the crowd moving.
