I nearly called this show 'Pleasure'. And then I thought that the only pleasures one would think of when faced with such a title would be pleasures forbidden to anyone under 18. Or, for financial reasons, I want under-18s to be able to attend my show as well. So I named it 'Delicious': it's a family show that will be presented at Théâtre Libre.
In one hour and twenty minutes, I will attempt to untangle the complexity of what provokes pleasure in human beings. Of course, pleasure can come from a glass of Sancerre that you let linger along the banks of the Seine in spring. But it can also be provoked by the death of a person you do not love. Of course, an unexpected promotion within the company brings joy. But also the act of eating Camembert in Camembert, or knowing that you do not pronounce the 'z' in Avoriaz (which lets you feel superior to all those who do not know it).
My aim is that this show provokes in you a certain pleasure.
