Altered Images, from the UK post-punk and new wave scenes, embark on a UK tour celebrating their 1981 album Happy Birthday, performed in full by original singer Clare Grogan. The tour focuses on the album that launched their career and includes a selection of the band's hits.
Altered Images had chart successes including Don’t Talk to Me About Love, I Could Be Happy, Happy Birthday, See Those Eyes, Pinky Blue and Bring Me Closer. Following her breakthrough with Altered Images, Grogan appeared on screen, including in the film Gregory’s Girl, and later took on roles across television drama and comedy. As an author, she has written several children's books.
