Info
Plini brings his An Unnameable Desire North American Tour to Montréal on October 21, 2026 at Théâtre Beanfield. The Sydney guitarist leads an instrumental project built on clear melodies, layered harmonies and shifting meters, moving between progressive rock, metal and touches of jazz fusion. On stage with his band, he pushes dynamics from quiet, spacious passages to tight, rhythmic sections, drawing from Handmade Cities, Impulse Voices and the Mirage EP. Expect fluid lead lines, textured arrangements and a set shaped like a journey rather than a sequence of solos.
Night Verses join as an instrumental trio from Southern California. First known for post-hardcore leanings, they now favor dense atmospheres, intricate rhythms and wide-screen guitars that edge into post-rock and art-rock. Their recent material, including Every Sound Has a Color in the Valley of Night, trades vocals for interlocking motifs and big crescendos, keeping the intensity of their early days while opening up the space.
Portraits completes the bill with progressive instrumental pieces that connect the evening’s focus on melody, dynamics and precision.
