Rodrigo y Gabriela, the Grammy-winning Mexican guitar duo, return with OurHome, a new album self-produced in Tokyo that draws a clear line between intimate exploration and cinematic flashes. On 31 March 2027 at Le Bikini in Ramonville-Saint-Agne, they will present this chapter in concert, propelled by instrumental writing that blends melodic sweep and rhythmic drive without superfluous effects. From their beginnings playing on the streets of Dublin to international stages, Rodrigo Sánchez and Gabriela Quintero have forged a language of their own, nourished by classical music, rock, metal and Latin influences, always centered on the acoustic guitar. OurHome brings the duo back to a more textural sonic palette while opening up new possibilities in the arrangements. On stage, Rodrigo’s tense lead guitar intertwines with Gabriela’s percussive strikes and counter-rhythms for a set in which tension, breathing spaces and rising intensity follow in succession. The concert is conceived to showcase their new repertoire without forsaking the pieces that made their reputation.
