Hooverphonic

Hooverphonic celebrates its 30th anniversary on 19 March 2027 at Le Plan in Ris-Orangis. The Belgian group, led by Alex Callier and Raymond Geerts, returns with the blend that has become its signature: trip-hop vibrations, dreamy pop and cinematic arrangements crafted for the stage. For the occasion, Noémie Wolfs rejoins the lineup. Her voice accompanied a key period of the band and still asserts itself in their concerts, notably on tracks such as "Anger Never Dies", "The Night Before", "Amalfi" and "Gravity". Her rendition of "Mad About You" has also found its place in Hooverphonic’s live repertoire, alongside the original.

This anniversary date promises to be a journey through the band’s different eras, mixing cult favourites and reinterpretations carried by Noémie’s presence. These are songs with an orchestral grain and precise melodies, designed to build atmosphere and play with dynamics. Thirty years on from their beginnings, Hooverphonic still displays that attention to detail that links their early trip-hop impulses to a broader pop sound, and places at the heart of their concerts what defines them: a foregrounded voice, carefully crafted textures and songwriting that commands the stage.
