Dizzee Rascal

Dizzee Rascal returns to Paris on 2 October 2026 at La Machine du Moulin Rouge. An MC and producer from east London and a leading figure of the first wave of grime, he early on forged a tense sound that sits between UK garage, bassline and British hip‑hop. At 18 he released Boy in da Corner (2003), a Mercury Prize–winning album that put his incisive lyrics and stripped‑back instrumentals front and center. He followed with Showtime and Maths + English, before taking a more pop- and dance‑oriented turn with Tongue N’ Cheek (2009), which produced several UK number ones. The Fifth (2013) extended those directions, featuring heavyweight collaborations with Calvin Harris, Arctic Monkeys, Shakira, will.i.am and Robbie Williams.

In recent years Dizzee Rascal has returned to a more direct aesthetic with Raskit (2017) and Don’t Take It Personal (2024), reconnecting with the gritty grime that first revealed him. On stage, expect a journey through these different periods — from the early bangers to his new material — propelled by a precise flow and pit‑ready energy.
