Bardix le Gaulois

Bardix the Gaul takes over La Maroquinerie in Paris on 26 November 2026. Under the Gallic techno banner, he weaves a precise electronic foundation—driving rhythms, repetitive basslines, taut buildups—with melodies drawn from a reinvented folklore. Flutes and bagpipes rub up against machines; tribal patterns and insistent themes interlock to ratchet up the tension.

On stage, Bardix assumes the role of the modern bard: costume, raw set pieces and imagery of Gaul provide the framework for a live show designed for dancing and impact. The set advances clearly, directly and physically, at the intersection of club culture and a neo-folkloric aesthetic. His approach restores the energy of techno to the center while incorporating traditional motifs, creating a collective ceremony in which the pulse remains the guiding thread. Here, a reconfigured past and an electronic present answer one another without nostalgia, in a direct format that aims for effectiveness as much as immersion.
