Brighton’s Fickle Friends bring their indie-pop pulse and glossy synth lines to King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow on 3 October 2026. Led by singer-keyboardist Natassja Shiner, the band first cut its teeth on stage before dropping early singles Swim, Play and For You, followed by the Velvet (2015) and Glue (2017) EPs. Their debut album You Are Someone Else (2018) set the tone with crisp keys and tight hooks, while the two-part Weird Years (2021) and Are We Gonna Be Alright? (2022) pushed toward a more direct, pop-leaning edge without losing that melodic snap. Now a quartet after Christopher Hall’s departure, Fickle Friends kept the momentum with standalone tracks and a rework of The Aces’ Kelly, before returning in 2025 with a self-titled third album. On stage, they align bright synth textures, wiry guitars and punchy rhythms into compact songs built for singalongs, with special guests joining the bill.
