Info
Nothing But Thieves bring The Stray Dogs World Tour to Vancouver on March 31, 2027 at Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Formed in Southend-on-Sea, the British five-piece has built a lean, melodic take on alternative rock that balances tight hooks, incisive guitars and, over time, a darker electronic edge. From early EPs to their 2015 self-titled album and 2017’s Broken Machine, the band sharpened a sound that slips between indie rock bite and a punchier, more expansive palette.
With What Did You Think When You Made Me This Way? and the Moral Panic cycle (album in 2020, EP in 2021), Nothing But Thieves pushed their writing toward a nervier, sometimes more political register without dropping the core band energy. Dead Club City in 2023 nudged the synthetic textures further, opening up new colors for the stage. Live, they’ve grown from clubs to major festival slots and opened for heavyweights like Muse, honing a set that moves easily from brooding tension to big, singable choruses. In Vancouver, expect a tour through their catalogue: the sharp early tracks, the raw pulse of Moral Panic and the sleek, future-leaning tones of Dead Club City, all carried by Conor Mason’s range and the group’s tight interplay.
