Info
On 14 October 2026, Matilda Mann brings her intimate folk-pop to O2 Institute Birmingham in Birmingham. London-born and shaped by the west side of the city, the BRIT School alum writes compact, melodic songs where a close-mic’d voice and a clean, central guitar carry the story. Her early EPs — If That Makes Sense and Because I Wanted You to Know (2020), Sonder (2021) and You Look Like You Can’t Swim (2023) — trace relationships, hesitations and everyday scenes with a light, precise touch. Roxwell, her first album released in 2025, extends that palette with sparse arrangements and soft pop shades.
On stage, Matilda leans into fingerpicked patterns, quiet dynamics and harmonies that sit close to the melody. She has opened for Arlo Parks, beabadoobee and The Staves, appeared with spill tab on Borderline Insane (2023), and added harmonies to Bombay Bicycle Club’s Fantasneeze (2024). In 2024 she toured across Europe and the UK with Wallows, then joined UK dates with Role Model, shaping a live set that moves naturally between hushed confessionals and brighter indie folk.
In Birmingham, expect a selection from Roxwell alongside earlier tracks, arranged with space and clarity so the lyrics and melodies stay front and centre.
