MEUTE

MEUTE will be appearing at Arkéa Arena in Floirac on 13 May 2027. Born in Hamburg in 2015 around trumpeter Thomas Burhorn, this Techno marching band brings together eleven musicians in red jackets who transpose techno, house and deep house into an entirely acoustic set. Brass up front, metronomic percussion, collective breath: the pulse of a club, without machines.

Spotted in 2016 with their reinterpretation of Rej by Âme, they have since built a repertoire that mixes versions of electronic classics (Laurent Garnier, Disclosure, Dennis Ferrer, Deadmau5) with original compositions. On stage, from the streets of St. Pauli to major venues and festivals, MEUTE has established a format somewhere between a brass band and a live dance-music set, documented by Tumult (2017), Live in Paris (2019), Puls (2020), Taumel (2022) and Empor (2024).

In 2027, the group presents a new live show with staging designed for techno, supported by a new studio album. Sharp rhythmic writing, brass lines that lodge in the memory, and a percussion section that maintains the pace: a set crafted to carry the audience into a collective movement, played by breath and percussion.
