Formed in 2012 in Denver (USA), Khemmis has established itself as one of the major bands of modern heavy doom metal. Through compositions as elegant as they are intense, the quartet transcends the boundaries of traditional doom by blending classic heavy metal and rock influences with melancholic atmospheres.

From their debut album Absolution, praised by specialist critics, Khemmis drew the attention of the international metal scene. With Hunted and then Desolation, the band confirmed its rise thanks to an epic and distinctive sound, prompting comparisons to Thin Lizzy, Paradise Lost and Judas Priest. Between tours and appearances at metal festivals, Khemmis has been building a reputation around the world.

In 2021, the band released Deceiver via Nuclear Blast Records, an album that explores themes of pain, hope and inner struggle. Hailed by Metal Hammer, Kerrang! and Decibel Magazine, this fourth album cements Khemmis’s place in contemporary metal.
