Info
On March 28, 2027, Morat brings the YEM World Tour to MTELUS in Montréal. Formed in Bogotá in the early 2010s, the quartet — Juan Pablo Isaza, Simón Vargas, Juan Pablo Villamil and Martín Vargas — builds songs around acoustic strings and tight vocal harmonies, weaving Spanish-language pop with folk-pop textures. Their breakthrough arrived mid-2010s with Mi nuevo vicio alongside Paulina Rubio, which opened doors across Spain and Latin America. Since then, they’ve toured widely and shared tracks with Álvaro Soler, Aitana and Sebastián Yatra, while shaping a discography that spans Sobre el amor y sus efectos secundarios (2016), Balas perdidas (2018), A dónde vamos? (2021) and Si ayer fuera hoy (2022).
On stage, Morat leans into melodic arrangements where guitars, bass and banjo support romantic, narrative lyrics and choruses built for singalongs. Expect a set that balances slow-burning ballads and more driving, rhythm-led tracks, drawing across their albums and collaborations. Spanish pop stays at the center, with a clear, accessible sound tailored for a live crowd at MTELUS on March 28, 2027.
